There's nothing quite like a fresh strawberry smoothie on a sunny morning in the San Bernardino Mountains. Here, where crisp alpine air meets fertile valleys and local farms burst with seasonal bounty, strawberries thrive in the cool mountain climate. Whether you're picking up a pint at a roadside stand near Oak Glen, or a Farmers Market in Twin Peaks, or gathering your own from a local grower in the foothills, these sweet, juicy berries are the heart of summer in the mountains. This recipe captures the freshness and simplicity of the region—perfect for a quick breakfast, a post-hike refresher, or just a delicious way to enjoy what our local land has to offer.
